Artists' Collaboration Sarah Jane and Jackie Blue
Jacqueline Muitjens' treescapes and Sarah Jane Hickson’s portraits are presented in epoxy resin and wooden embroidery hoops. Ancient forests and a lonely figure are developed in blue, each piece searching for balance and understanding of an emotional journey: time capsules of the artists' lives and their collaboration.
Inspired by an Artist In Residency in the Blue Hills of Massachusetts, USA, these cyanotypes capture both the energy of the sun and the fragility of human life.
